So, a couple of weeks back, Kate and I went to the wedding of a high school friend of hers, held just outside of Waldoboro, ME. Quite a lovely time was had by all, and I got the chance to meet some of Kate’s friends from her youth. And my, what an interesting bunch they are…
In the interests of just having people randomly guess at things, here’s a little quiz that Kate and I put together to commemorate this special event. Answer all of the questions in the comments section, and if you get some number of them that’s not yet been determined, you might be entered to possibly win a prize!* (* No Purchase Necessary. See complete rules. Prize not guaranteed, but I know what it’ll be if I get around to awarding it, and trust me, it’s sweet.):
1) Which animals were given (in some form) to the lucky vegetarian couple?
A) sheep

4) What did Kate discover trapped in her parents’ backyard just as we were about to leave?

Please, people! The response rate was abysmal last time. Help Ian think that someone besides his mother reads his blog. Spread the word…

Oh and my mom doesn’t even read my blog so it could be worse.
1. c, if you’re going to give farm animals you might as just well go all the way.
2. b, frisbee is incestuous
3. c, i’m going to go with c since i had plenty of friends who just skipped the rest of high school and moved on to undergrad
4. d, because a bear doesn’t get trapped anywhere

A bear mauled your little league coach. Trying to get away he called some friends of his on his iPhone to drive him away. A sheep and a goat took Kate’s car and nearly ran her over. Missing her, they took the bear and fled to Nunavut to escape the cops.
Wait, this isn’t a choose your own adventure?

ok. here we go.
My strategy: choose the most unlikely answers, because, hey, if those aren’t right then the answers aren’t interesting enough to make a whole quiz about.
C
D
D
B
True
K
now, some may wonder (such as my roommate Ian) why I would choose answers that I know to be incorrect. and for those of you, i refer to my statement above.

when is the answer key getting published?
1. b mmm…goat.
2. c
3. a which time? knowing kate, all of those things are plausible, but I seem to remember many of kate’s high school stories ending with the police being called.
4. d that would be the most problematic, i think.
5. if it’s true, can I see it?
6. where’s the never never land option?
