A good friend of Kate’s has held a “grownup prom” the last couple of years. He rents out the Cambridge Tennis Club building, hires a DJ, and invites all his friends to get pretty and party the night away.
This year’s event was held this past Saturday, and was quite intoxicating.

Ooooh! Lemme tell you all about prom!
I was all like, “OMG! Isn’t this the best thing ever?”
And Ian was all “whatever.”
And then the chaperones got all up in our business, and I was like, “Chillax,” ‘cuz teachers are mad dumb.
Everything was perfect and I was the princess. Wheeeeee!

Ummm, personally I think we pulled off the cheesy photos pretty well… so well that I feel the need to clarify that this was a completely sarcastic event.
Alas, neither Ian nor I were crowned Prom King/Queen.
