We actually owned two chairs that were basically like the one in the big photo when you were a little kid. Dad and I bought them in the very early 70s–I don’t remember where–and sold them at an early Ashmont Hill Yard Sale. They actually weren’t that comfortable (or at least I didn’t think so). Too bad they weren’t some of the ton of things that got piled int he basement, etc., so you could have discovered them and tested them out for yourself.
