I know this is ridiculous, but Name Voyager is actually pretty interesting.

It seems that “Ian” is the 68th most common name given to boys born in the US, and has been enjoying a rather dramatic upsurge in popularity over the past 50 years or so.

“Grace” is the 14th most common name given to girls, meanwhile. In the 1980′s, though, it was the 226th most common.

Nice to know that my parents were pretty far ahead of the trend…
