It’s built around a traffic cone, which appeared on the front lawn one day. The base is covered with part of a very cheap doormat (Home Depot special), and the cone part is wrapped in 3/8″ SasalSisal rope. (All told it took 100 feet of rope to wrap the thing once — and if I’d been paying a little more attention instead of watching Grey’s Anatomy at the same time, it would have been more like 110 feet.

good job. I have to make something similar for Spike, cuz he’s started tearing at the couch and most door jams. Grrr.
