Well, the dishes are done. For the moment, at least. I mean, we have clean plates in the house again, which is a good start.
(If you have no idea why this is exciting, read this post from a couple of days ago.)
Also, the dirty clothes have made it into the wash, and from there into the dryer. Now I just need to get them out of the dryer, combine with the aforementioned clean clothes, and actually put them away.
Hrm. Progress.
I also read through the first couple of sections in the LSAT book that I’m using to prep for the test (which comes up in only 6 days). From what I’ve seen so far, there really isn’t anything that looks difficult. Despite Peter’s warnings, I maintain my absurd and unjustified belief that I’m going to kill this test, because it was basically written for me. Good stuff.
This is Anna describing a day at work — I love the description, so I’m going to share it:
tiny, tiny asian children were running races, playing tug-o-war, and doing strange dances with their parents, while an old japanese lady emceed atop a chair. jaunty, disney-like orchestral music played out the crackly PA system while these japanese tykes wearing little red and white caps ran around the field squealing.
Drew Hanson just gave up the lead in the Red Sox – Orioles game. New York already lost, so we’re not going to fall farther behind in the AL East, but….it’s not looking good for the boys. But it’s okay. Because we’ve had a full season of referring to the “World Champion Boston Red Sox” and that’s enough for me. Having seen them win once, I’m just going to seek to keep from having my heart broken by my team from here on out.
More in a couple. But it deserves a post of it’s own.
