Sitting here getting ready to do some work (more Exchange, joy), and really enjoying “Natural Progression” by Sweatshop Union. There’s a couple of videos if you’re interested in a sample of the group.
It occured to me the other day that I’ve got an awful lot of white rappers in my “Intelligent music that makes me happy” collection (Sweatshop Union, Aesop Rock, Buck 65, Sage Francis). Wonder why it is that all this stuff that just appeals to me is made by white people. That’s kind of weird.
